The Emerald City: LVS does Seattle
The LVS team took a trip to Seattle, Washington this past week for the ACVIM (American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) conference! This veterinary conference is where many specialists come together to enjoy several days of learning and networking amongst other veterinary professionals. We made a lot of new friends and connections while seeing some familiar faces from the East Coast. Some highlights of the conference included a cat lounge and bark park where you could take a break and have some bonding time with our four-legged friends. In addition, we were able to sit in on lectures given by the top specialists in their fields so we could bring back new knowledge to share with you.
There were a ton of vendors there representing new and exciting products and some specialty practices from across the nation. The LVS team was there to spread the word about our vision and shared the floor plan of the new building (sneak peak coming to you soon!). While we were there, we were also able to get in some sight-seeing and experienced the rich culture. Points of interest included the Space Needle, the Market Theater Gum Wall (just google it!), the Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit and the Pike Place Market that overlooks the Elliot Bay Waterfront. If you’ve ever thought about a visit, we highly recommend it!
We had a blast talking to people from all over the world and sharing where we’re from. It was easy to talk about Lancaster and all that the community has to offer. Thank you to ACVIM and Seattle for hosting us this week.
